Ramp Quality
Every city is unique. Every skate park should be unique too. Ramps more than ever need to be built with new technology and deeper considerations with the end user in mind. This is why we build parks that have at least a 10 yr warranty. Unlike wood based products, steel does not chip, crack, splinter or wear down. Every weld is rated to withstand thousands of pounds providing strength well beyond any demand produced by skateboards, roller blades or bikes. BHR's quality team is made up of certified welders, a full metal fabrication shop, professional engineers and business people. Every skate park is drawn out on CAD by a Stanford Graduate engineer who has over 25 years of skateboarding experience. This unique combination of experience ensures the best ramp designs for skaters, yet provides the needed assurance of safety and product quality.

Durability
Product durability is of the utmost importance when choosing a skate park product. All BHR ramps are framed in 2"x2"x.120"sq tubing. All riding surfaces are sheeted with 10 ga (.120") sheets of steel making it impossible to dent, bend or crack. Using 10 ga sheets allows the riding surfaces to be strong enough to withstand years of impact, yet flexible enough to maximize safety. BHR does not use screws or rivets in any assembly, only solid beads of weld. Weather is not an issue with our ramps. All steel surfaces on top and underneath are coated with a rust cap and every seam underneath is caulked with silicone.

Park Maintenance
Outside of an optional annual coat of paint (any color) applied to the riding surfaces, BHR ramps are ZERO MAINTENANCE. Outdoor parks need not be covered during rainy season.

Price Advantage
A dollar per dollar comparison to cement shows that BHR parks last every bit as long, but cost only 1/3 the price. This savings can be applied toward other areas of the park, such as trees, benches, fences, lights, rec. buildings or A LARGER PARK. Comparing a BHR park to wood based parks, shows again that steel is more cost effective if the park is expected to be around for more than a couple of years. This is because of the high labor and material cost for re-skinning wood ramps.

Long Term Options
All BHR ramps are designed to be expandable and have forklift mobility. Parks can be rearranged and redesigned by moving and modifying existing BHR ramps. If park property were no longer to be used for skateboarding, BHR ramps would possess high resale value since they would show little wear and can be relocated. Cement parks possess high demolition costs when closing and wood parks would not retain value.
